If you’re an 80s girl like me, you’re swooning over the craziness of the fabric I used to make this bag. This knit print is so early to mid-80s it cracks me up. The dress was sold in Palm Springs and I believe is vacationing about now in Hawaii. The handbag is new, one of a very limited number of things I can make with the small amount of vintage fabric.

1. Vintage knit print covered with new clear vinyl and trimmed with new vinyl

2. Lining created with coordinating fabric

3. Buckram layer between outside and lining for structure

4. Base made from a double layer of recycled corrugated plastic

5. Interior double pocket

6. Acrylic ring handles
