Some years ago I bought a large amount of fabric and a mannequin from the family of a woman named Raphaelita (now also the name of the mannequin who resides at my house). This fabric came from a pillow she had made. It was stuffed with pantyhose– something my mom also did for some things she made- as a way to reuse old stockings. There was enough of the polyester double knit for me to make this one handbag.
