Ruth was an incredible seamstress and we've been lucky to use her vintage fabrics for our bags. And she once had a pool (now covered up) at her house. We imagine that she used this striped terrycloth to make swim cover ups. We bordered it with fuchsia canvas.

The large bucket has a double layer of recycled corrugated plastic for the base to keep it steady no matter what you’re carrying in it. It is lined and has a matching inside pocket (7 inches by 6 inches) large enough to hold a cell phone and also sports the Chelle Summer label. Braided rope is held using metal grommets. One rope closes the bucket while another serves as a shoulder strap.
